Luckily for the downtown crowd, Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods is now open at 335 Burrard street at the base of the historic Marine Building.
On June 8th, 2013, Meghan and Steve Clarke opened the glass doors of their 1400 square foot Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods restaurant in Kitsilano, just in time for patio season. Serving healthy, high-quality food to the neighbourhood is what they do, and they do it well. A menu composed of homemade soups, stews, salads and sandwiches may seem simple, but the reality is that it’s far from easy to get it right, as Tractor does.
“We are team driven” says Meaghan Clarke, adding that it takes a lot of manpower to prepare their menu. Having solid teams at both locations lead by Patrick Wong and Frank Lo is what makes this Tractor move.
According to Clarke, their new 2400-square foot loft-style restaurant offers a clean and simple space with bright lights and floor to ceiling windows. The custo- made overhead light by Tangible Interaction adds a very artistic and complementary flare to the beautiful decor.
Tractor Foods is a modern day cafeteria-style restaurant with a 60-seat fully licensed dining area. Ordering is made easy as patrons enter a line and order directly from one of the friends staff. Items are measured out and prepared as you file down to the payment area. For the busy business crowd looking for a quick and efficient way to get healthy natural goodness, Tractor is an ideal fit. Tractor Foods Downtown is built to cater to business professionals…by former corporate workers. That’s right, both Meghan and Steve were once in those very shoes and can relate to the challenges of finding fresh quality food in a quick-service way.
