Cloudy with a chance of toys?

Earlier this afternoon, an unidentified individual was seen throwing toys off the balcony of a Woodwards apartment unit.

Brianna MacNeil told Vancity Buzz that for approximately 15 minutes, a very significant number of toys fell from the sky on Cordova Street near Abbott Street. The objects shattered on the road upon impact and several vehicles were also hit by objects, including an SUV that was hit by a super soaker.

A large crowd watched from below as the toys were being thrown out from a unit located somewhere between the eighth to tenth floors. Police arrived to the scene shortly after it began while locals in the neighbourhood took out their brooms to clean the mess.

It is believed that nobody on the ground was injured from the incident.
