In addition to the “brewery boom” in Mount Pleasant, Steel and Oak is a short and convenient walk from the Columbia Skytrain station in New West. Their tasting room features seven beers on tap but also a special rotating test tap, if you’re feeling adventurous.
This is a definite must see in New West. A store filled with work by local artisans and some of the most unique gift and cool home décor. The warm atmosphere is only supported by their store mascot Begbie (named after Judge Begbie).
Just down the street from Brick & Mortar, you’ll find this sweet spot featuring different designers for two to three weeks at a time.
