The sun has finally set on Mr. Parsons who is leaving GlobalTV BC after 35 great years. He will be missed by many and to most will always be the voice of BC. Look for the youngster Chris Gailus to take over Mr. Parsons role.

In a stunning turn of events, Tony Parsons, the award-winning, most watched anchor in the country, will be leaving Global BC on Wednesday night–this after 35 years of service.

Tony will also be interviewed from his new restaurant, “The Poor Italian” (1st and Rupert in Vancouver–the food is outstanding, by the way) Wednesday night during the news hour, as the station pays tribute to the man who anchored the most successful dinner hour news program in North America, for over three decades .
