Have you wondered if that picture of a celebrity on Tinder was actually them, or a fake? Well, now Tinder takes the mystery out of the equation with a new feature.

The (in)famous dating app now offers verified profiles for notable public figures, celebrities, and athletes, according to the Tinder blog.

“Many celebrities were telling us that no one believes it is really them on Tinder, so we launched verified profiles to authentic users who are notable public figures,” Rosette Pambakian, vice president of global communications and branding at Tinder, told The Huffington Post.

Celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Hilary Duff have spoken about using the app and getting passed over because people assume their profiles are fake.
