DH Vancouver Staff Jul 21, 2015 9:44 am

Tim Hortons newest addition was a winner before it even hit store shelves: The Love Reese to Pieces™ Donut was created by a Timmies superfan and won the 2014 Duelling Donuts competition.

The donut chain has just released this sweet treat to the hungry masses. It’s a chocolate donut filled with a creamy custard, covered in chocolate fondant, and topped with chopped peanuts and mini Reese Peanut Butter Cups. Oh man!

Love Reese to Pieces was the middle-of-the-night invention of Jennifer Brown of Glencoe, Ontario. Her invention beat out nearly 77,000 entries to be named the champion of the annual crowd-created donut showdown.

This year’s Duelling Donuts is up and running, but the last day to submit entries for your shot at Tim Hortons donut glory is Tuesday, July 21 (today).
