September in Tri-Cities is full of fun events for everyone to enjoy, including Treefest, Terry Fox Hometown Run, and more. To get you started, here are 10 things to do around Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody this month.
What: Celebrate the official opening of the newly renovated Rochester Park. The official ceremony and ribbon cutting will be followed by playground games and light refreshments. New features include a zipline, accessible saucer swings, tunnel slide, climbing wall, sand play area and skate park. Enhanced trails and stairways, new sports fields and grassy areas for picnicking provide something for all ages.
What: Robert Campbell and Cailin Green is a duo of talented musicians whose vocal harmonies and honesty captivate audiences with their warm and relaxed on-stage presence. Their thoughtful songwriting of a contemporary folk/pop style with a touch of traditional blues, country and light rock, range from happy to powerful to poignant.
