Circle Craft Christmas Market

  • What: The Christmas spirit is coming to Vancouver a little early this year, as the Circle Craft prepares for its 44th annual market. The Circle Craft Christmas Market hosts more than 300 different artisans and vendors from across Canada, and features everything from pottery to fashion to craft distilleries.
  • When: Wednesday, November 8 to  Friday, November 10 from 10 am to 9 pm; Saturday November, 11 from 10 am to 7 pm; Sunday November 12, 10 am to 5 pm
  • Where: Vancouver Convention Centre West – 1055 Canada Place, Vancouver
  • Price: $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students. Save $2 on advance tickets when you buy online

  • What: The trails and the trees of Bear Creek Park will be illuminated for two nights this year. Grab a hot drink, make a lantern and prepare to be wowed as you wander through an ever changing display of colours. Activities include face painting, photo booth, lantern crafts, illumination board and food trucks.

The Power of Tourism

  • What: Destination BC CEO Marsha Walden will speak to the influence of the tourism sector, and following her keynote will be joined by a panel of industry experts to further discuss the industry and its benefits.

Two Views from the Sylvia – Kol Halev Performance Society

  • What: Ever wondered about the stories behind the moss-covered, venerable Sylvia Hotel in English Bay? Here’s your chance to relive a part of Vancouver legacy, with two original one-act plays that trace the origins of the 100+ year old hotel. You might recognize more than a few of the characters, including lifeguard extraordinaire Joe Fortes and the immortalized Sylvia Goldstein.

The Lady Show Turns 2

Rupi Kaur the sun and her flowers tour 

  • What: Canadian poet Rupi Kaur will be stopping in Vancouver to promote the release of her newest book the sun and her flowers. Kaur’s first book milk and honey gained international success and is a #1 New York Times bestseller. It has sold over 1.5 million copies and has been translated into over 30 languages.
