Say Hello Sweets Ice Cream Social

  • What: Say Hello Sweets has teamed up with Blue Heron Creamery & Amai Vegan Treats to pop up for one night only. The menu will include flights of ice cream, cheesecake by the slice, cheese plates & wine or kombucha. All of the eats are vegan-friendly, dairy-free, soy-free and gluten-free. There will be local wine, Spark Kombucha, and gluten-free ice cream cones from Smallflower Cafe & Bakeshop. Family-friendly.

Graduate Business Women’s Council Panel Discussion

  • What: GBWC presents a panel discussion on “Defining your Path” in the professional space. Jen Duff, Sim Perera and Cameila Cirjoi discuss the challenges they faced, how they overcame them and what advice they have for future generations. The event is moderated by Emily Rousseu, an SFU EMBA alumni and Managing Principal at Stantec.

Yin Yoga in the Garden

  • What: Enjoy yoga, under the trees. Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that is suitable for beginners or students seeking a slower, more meditative practice. Bring a yoga mat, any props you may like to use, and extra layers for cooler weather. In case of rain, class will take place indoors. Meet in the Visitor Centre Entrance Hall 10 minutes early.

VSO: Live at the Bard

Extraordinary VSO Principal Clarinet Jeanette Jonquil performs Mozart’s sublime Clarinet Concerto, and the orchestra performs selections by the greatest of the great masters, Mozart and Beethoven.
