  • What: Originally from River City before kicking around Atlanta, Puddles gained momentum after hitting the road as guest performer on the 2010 Aqua Teen Hunger Force Live tour and 2013 Eels tour and making special appearances at Seattle’s Teatro ZinZanni and NYC’s Sleep No More. Puddles has since performed all over the planet, garnering rave reviews at festivals like Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Perth Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Fest and Belgium’s Gent Fest.

Cartems Knitting Club

  • What: Looking to meet other knitters in Vancouver? Are you learning how to knit and need assistance or advice? Cartems Kits hosts a Knitting Club every other Monday at for people to mingle, learn from one another and gain inspiration.

Drum Masterclass with Cirque Du Soleil’s Eric Boudrealt

  • What: In this masterclass, Eric will show different ways to approach the feel and pulse of different grooves and styles of music. Eric is an incredibly accomplished drummer and educator, working with some of Cirque de Soleil’s most popular touring shows. Bring your sticks, a note pad and learn how to improve your groove!

4th Annual Curry Cup

  • What: To celebrate one of the great communal eating dishes enjoyed in our city, eight of Vancouver’s top chefs will compete in the 4th annual Curry Cup. Join the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia and its panel of participating chefs and judges for this fun event. Parts of the proceeds will be given to Project Chef.

Stories to be heard, not yet told

  • What: A celebration dedicated to hearing stories from B.C.’s leading reporters and story tellers on what’s shaping our lives. The fundraiser for The Columbia Institute and The Tyee includes an Ethiopian buffet dinner, a raffle, and the opportunity to mingle with friends both new and old who care about the communities we live in.

Super Scene! End-O-Snow Edition

  • What: Super Scene is a long form improv show with an ensemble cast of veteran improvisers and one musical guest from all over the Vancouver improv community.
    Each improviser, using a suggestion from the audience and their own unique genre direct an improvised story just for you!

Classic Gentlemen’s Wet Shaving and Grooming Workshop

  • What: Join the British Barbers Association experts as they demonstrate and coach attendees through classic English hot towel wet shave techniques and a traditional men’s haircut without the use of clippers.  The experts will discuss how the men’s shaving and grooming categories have taken off across North America, and how trends are starting to lean towards more classic looks.
