Eastside Flea Holiday Markets

  • What: This flea market is more like a party because it has a DJ, beer, and a delicious selection of hot eats from a variety of food trucks. Check out the 50-plus vendors offering plants, collectibles, handmade items, and vintage clothing.

Giraffage with Sweater Beats

  • What: San Francisco-based producer Giraffage (Charlie Yin) has released numerous remixes of various pop and R&B tracks, amd produced two full-length studio albums: Comfort in 2011 and Needs in 2013. His debut full length album, Too Real, was released on October 20, 2017

Sink or Swim by Beverley Elliot

  • What: Sink or Swim is an evening of songs and stories from actor and singer Beverley Elliot (Granny on Once Upon A Time). 2017 WE FOR SHE Forum

  • What: The 2017 WE FOR SHE Forum will be one of North America’s largest gatherings of women’s organizations, companies, experts, business leaders, advocates and young women. Now in its fourth year, this year’s forum will build on the WE FOR SHE Call to Action plan as well as focus on the top issues facing gender equity. This event will also mark the release of #Canada150Women book featuring remarkable Canadians from across the country.

Barenaked Ladies

  • What: The Fake Nudes Canadian Tour is to promote the Barenaked Ladies 15th studio album, Fake Nudes, which will be released on November 17. On the same day as the album release, the band will be starting off their Fake Nudes tour in Vancouver for two shows at the Commodore Ballroom.

SPIN

  • What: Theatrical innovator Evalyn Parry takes her audience on a unique theatrical and musical journey in SPIN, her tribute to the bicycle as muse, musical instrument and agent for social change. Spinning a web of stories that travel from 19th century women’s emancipation to 21st Century consumer culture, SPIN is inspired by the incredible true tale of Annie Londonderry – the first woman to ride around the world on a bicycle in 1895.
