What: The Clearly Open Pro Beach Volleyball Tournament is a three day event run by Volleyball BC and features pro beach volleyball players from Canada, North America, and destinations worldwide. The event attracts over 20,000 spectators each year and offers activities for all ages including a youth volleyball tournament, prize giveaways, interactive crowd activities, and some of the best beach volleyball action in North America.

When: Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What: Each weekend over 20,000 visitors hit up this massive summertime night market in Richmond and experience the diverse array of booths, food and drink vendors, kids’ play area, and live entertainment.
Where: 12631 Vulcan Way (behind Home Depot on Sweden Way), Richmond
When: Friday, May 8 to September 27; Fridays and Saturdays 6 to 11 p.m. and Sundays 6 to 10 p.m.
What: Drawing crowds from all over Metro Vancouver, the Richmond Night Market is located within easy access of the Canada Line’s Bridgeport Station. Roam the aisles to find games, food, and all sorts of wares for sale. Late nighters take note, this is the only local night market open until midnight (Fridays and Saturdays).

When: May 15 to October 12, 2015; Fridays and Saturdays 7 p.m. to Midnight, Sundays and holiday Mondays 7 to 11 p.m.
What: The Khatsahlano Street Party is Vancouver’s largest free music and art festival. Expect to see performances by more than 50 artists including The Belle Game, Yukon Blonde and The Courtneys on eight stages.

What: Around 40 breweries are taking part in the first annual Squamish Beer Festival that’s happening July 11. Expect more than 120 different craft beer and cider releases by breweries locally and across North America.
What: Presented by Mission Of Care Association, the festival will feature a variety of attractions like food stands, apparel vendors and the Showdown Throwdown Streetdance Battle competition, this all-ages event is expecting over 2,000 attendee
Where: Croation Cultural Centre – 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver
What: The outdoor concerts will be held over four hot summer afternoons and will feature Canadian radio icons The Trews, the groove juggernauts Five Alarm Funk, blues rockers Head of the Herd and rising country star Logan Mize.
Where: Red Truck Brewery Parking Lot – 295 East 1st Avenue, Vancouver
When: Saturday, July 11; 4 p.m., concert starts at 6 p.m.
What: The Mt. Pleasant Farmers’ Market is one of the newer kids on the Vancouver Farmers’ Market’s block, but it has quickly become a focal point of the community, bringing familiar vendors and neighbourhood faces together Sundays.
Where: 2300 Guelph Street, Mount Pleasant, Vancouver
When: Sundays, June 14 to October 11; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m
What: Free lessons begin earlier on in the day taught by professional salsa dancers, which are followed by a dance show at 5 p.m. filled with some of Vancouver’s best performers.

When: Every Sunday from July 5 to August 30, 3:30 to 7 p.m.
