It’s no secret that Olympic Village Station is one of the hottest spots on the SkyTrain network.

From craft breweries to epic eats, this station is your one-stop shop for anyone looking to impress that special someone. You can go for a stroll on the Seawall, rent some bikes, then go beer shopping at the largest beer market in the city.

Walk or bike the Seawall

  • What: A 28 km greenway that wraps around Vancouver’s coastline. The ideal romantic venue during sunset.
  • Where: Along the coast stretching from the Vancouver Convention Centre to Spanish Banks Park
  • When: Anytime

Go on a brewery hop

  • What: A circuit of various breweries all within walking distance of Olympic Village Station. Optional hopping points include R&B Brewing, Faculty Brewing, Big Rock Urban, and 33 Acres Brewing.

  • What: A restaurant and beer vending utopia that all Vancouver hipsters must visit at least once in their lives. Stocked with over 100 varieties of craft beers you’re sure to find something that tickles your fancy here. Pro tip: plan your date on a Tuesday to score some cheap tacos!
  • Where: 85 West 1st Avenue
  • When: 11 am – midnight Sunday to Thursday, 11 am – 1 am Fridays, and 10 am – 1 am Saturdays

Buy fancy loaves at Terra Breads
