SkyTrain dates: 8 things to do around Columbia Station

Acting as a major transfer point between the two Expo Line routes, if you need to access Surrey or Lougheed odds are you’ll end up walking around Columbia Station.

So much more than just a transfer point, Columbia is situated in trendy, downtown New Westminister. Skip the coffee date and go to a juicery, walk around the pier or get social at New West’s hottest club.

  • What: If you’re looking for a chill atmosphere, trivia night, round of pool and one of the top burgers in New West this is your place. Not to mention they have some of the best beer selection in the Lower Mainland.

  • What: Previously nominated as the number one boardwalk around Vancouver. The Pier Park is uniquely built on land and water, supported by over 36,000 pilings. The park also includes two playgrounds, volleyball courts, picnic tables, and beautiful gardens.
