With the 2010 Olympics almost here, one of this city’s most beautiful buildings is now covered in what I would call cheap 70’s window drapes. I am not feeling this recent installation at the Vancouver Art Gallery, but I may be alone on this. On the Robson Street side a giant video monitor has been installed, see the video below:
At first I really hated it because I feel it hides the building too much. However, I do like the fact that it brightens up the bulding, but lights could have easily done that and at the same time shown the architectural beauty that is the VAG.
