Christmas spirit has already hit Vancouver with carols and decorations in malls and restaurants. Located within Downtown Vancouver, The Urban Tea Merchant recently launched their Holiday Tea Service to celebrate this festive season. Have some savouries and sweets along with a cup of tea from the Holiday Collection of TWG Tea.
Not only has The Urban Tea Merchant already launched their shopping event that includes a variety of gifts from TWG Tea’s Christmas Gift Collection, but the Holiday Tea Service is served now at their tea salon. The Holiday Tea Service menu includes many tea-infused savouries and sweets.
The Holiday Tea Service includes a fine three-tiered tea service, filled with savouries and sweets. To begin the tea service, we were given various teas from TWG Tea’s Holiday Collection to smell and decided which tea to accompany the food with. There is a variety of teas to choose from, such as Christmas Lights Tea or the new Christmas tea this year, Noel Noel! Tea.
On the bottom tier are the savouries that include:
My personal favourite of the savouries in the Holiday Tea Service was the “Singapore Breakfast Tea” seared ahi. The wasabi sauce on top makes a wonderful and appetizing combination of the seared ahi.
The middle tier of the tea service included fresh baked scones with devon creme and tea-infused jelly. The cake shown below is gingerbread with “Red Christmas Tea” butter icing. The tier is also garnished with edible sugar flowers.
The “Christmas Lights & Red Christmas” chocolate cups were a real delight. The dark chocolate cup contains a tea-infused mousse-like dessert inside it. The gold flake on top is edible too!
Last but not least, the top tier contained:
Additionally, for every Holiday Tea Service, customers will receive a gift with purchase which is 50 grams of tea from one of TWG Tea’s Holiday Collection.
The Urban Tea Merchant provides a great spot to share that warm cup of tea between friends, with delectable desserts and sandwiches for the cold winter day. Savour this moment by making a reservation today, as The Holiday Tea Service ends on December 31st.
