This Vancouver eatery's lunch menu is a seafood lover's dream

Vancouver’s food scene received a gift from above last year with the opening of Canada’s first southern-inspired seafood boil restaurant, The Holy Crab.

It’s been around for over a year and we still can’t get enough of the Robson Street eatery and its eat-with-your-hands seafood feasts.

The sustainable seafood spot now has a Louisiana-meets-west-coast lunch menu that’s going to make you alter your plans most days this summer.

Let’s get right into the new options that you can sink your teeth into (al fresco on their new patio preferably). Slap on your bib and get hungry, here are the new lunch items available at The Holy Crab.

Lobster grilled cheese

Forget everything you know about grilled cheese sandwiches until you try this uber tasty creation. It’s loaded with lobster meat, mozzarella, dill and cheddar béchamel sauce, as well as lobster butter.

Creamy cajun seafood pasta and garlic shrimp pasta

The Holy Crab’s pasta options are must-try eats for your lunchtime feast. The creamy cajun seafood pasta comes with Ocean Wise seafood like mussels and clams, all smothered in the restaurant’s signature cajun sauce.

Seafood boil enthusiasts will be delighted to know that this hands-on experience is available all day long – on both the lunch and dinner menus. And since The Holy Crab is now open seven days a week from 11 am to 10 pm, you can visit whenever the craving calls or make a reservation ahead of time.

The sun’s been blazing in Vancouver lately and if you need a reason to be outside, please let it be The Holy Crab’s patio. With $5 beer promos on different taps/bottles daily, you honestly won’t regret visiting. Not to mention the fact that there’s a tap beer called “The Holy Crab Lager” that you can order. Coincidence?

If you don’t fancy getting out of your sweats or leaving the house, The Holy Crab will come to you, just place your order with Door Dash or Foodora and mentally prepare yourself for what’s to come.
