Vancity Buzz readers are being offered the chance to win two tickets to see the popular UK art-pop quartet The 1975 play live in concert.

Held at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on April 27, the band will stop in Vancouver as part of its North American headline tour in support of their much anticipated sophomore album, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it.

The audience can expect a high energy performance that delivers staples like “Love Me,” the song that Billboard described as “a spirited step away from the radio-friendly teen rock of its debut,” and “an impressive coming-of-age shift.”

You can also expect anthemic favourites like “Chocolate” and “Girls,” staples that contributed to their self-titled debut album that sold one million albums worldwide.
