Thanks to its move to Rogers Arena, TEDxVancouver 2015 is set to be the largest conference to date.

“The event will change what you understand to be a ‘stadium experience,’” states the TEDxVancouver website. “Customizing the arena to accommodate something as grand as what we have planned, featuring delectable local food, thought-provoking art, and a better networking experience, we’ll still be maintaining that intimate feeling that have made the past TEDxVancouver events so special.”

Alongside the stadium setting, this year’s lineup of speakers also looks pretty special. Just some of the names that have been confirmed so far include:

  • Riaz Meghji (host) – Co-Host of Breakfast Television Vancouver
  • Mohamed Fahmy – Award-winning Egyptian-Canadian journalist and author
  • Kaitlyn Bristowe – Star of The Bachelorette
  • John Herdman – Head Coach of the Canadian Senior Women’s National Soccer Team
  • Matthew Williams – Special Olympics International Sargent Shriver Global Messenger
  • Garth Webb – Inventor of the Ocumetics Bionic Lens
  • Janet Moore and Duane Elverum – Co-founders and directors of CityStudio
  • Marina Adshade – Author of Dollars and Sex: How Economics Influences Sex and Love
  • Scott Jones – Ep Daily Host / pop-culture writer
  • Dan Eisenhardt – Co-founder of smart eyewear pioneer Recon
  • Sam Sullivan – Member of the Order of Canada and former Mayor of Vancouver
  • Scott Larson  – Scott and his team democratize the view of Earth from space
  • Prevail  co-front man for Canadian music group Swollen Members

  • Ivan Coyote – seasoned stage performer
  • Michael Yahgulanaas – Michael has created an artistic practice that is celebrated for its vitality and originality
