Tap & Barrel Shipyards' massive patio opens this week (PHOTOS)
One of the North Shore’s biggest patios is celebrating its grand opening this week, and it sounds like it’s going to be a major destination for dining al fresco and grabbing a few drinks in the sun when it does.
Tap & Barrel Shipyards’ new 240-seat patio opens on May 11 at 4 pm.

Designed by Tap & Barrel’s Owner, Daniel Frankel, this massive patio is BC’s largest and only full-service outdoor bar. The Shipyards’ patio features 52 beer, cider, and wine taps, which will be pouring out some of the best local beverages the area has to offer.
This outdoor space has been designed to operate all year round and it boasts heaters and fire pits to keep things cosy during the colder months.

So if you’re up for it, head to the grand opening of the patio, which will kick off at 4 pm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto.
