A man who works at a bar in Surrey is recovering from wounds to his neck after he was stabbed following a fight.

The Surrey RCMP says they were called to the Taphouse Bar in the 15300 block of 102A Avenue at 1:15 am. The bar’s staff made the call saying one of their staff had been stabbed at the front door following an altercation.

The victim was sent to hospital while police gathered evidence and spoke to witnesses.

The suspect took off in a white Mercedes sedan that was last seen heading east on 102A Avenue. He’s described as caucasian, 5’10” tall, with dark hair and was wearing a light coloured shirt with dark pants.
