A death in Surrey on Sunday morning is being called “suspicious in nature” by police.
Just before 5:30 am, Surrey RCMP was called to the 6900 Block of 127A Street. Upon their arrival, officers found an unresponsive adult victim in a residential laneway.
The victim ultimately succumbed to their injuries, and now the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in to help investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
Police said they are still gathering evidence surrounding the circumstances of the death. At this point, they are not releasing any further information.
