An investigation has been launched into a shooting that occurred Thursday night in Surrey.

According to Surrey RCMP, officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 12300 block of 91 A Avenue at approximately 9 pm. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found evidence and determined that shots had been fired in the area.

Witnesses told police they saw a white pickup truck firing multiple shots at a white Mercedes sedan, which has since been located with damage sustained from bullets.
