Surrey RCMP investigating after man shot and left with 'serious' injuries

Surrey RCMP is investigating a Sunday night shooting that left a man with “serious” injuries.

According to a release, officers responded to reports of shots fired on Sunday evening at approximately 10:45 pm in the 13900 block of 108 Avenue.

Officers located a 35-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a residence.

The man was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say this was a targeted but isolated incident and there is no risk to the public.
