UPDATE: The elderly woman has been reunited with her family, according to the Surrey RCMP.

The Surrey RCMP need your help finding a lost elderly woman’s family.

On Monday afternoon at around 4 p.m., police were called when an elderly woman was spotted wandering without shoes around 180th Street and 66A Avenue. She wasn’t able to provide police with any details about her identity or where she lived.

All the woman could say was that her first name was Sheila.

Sheila is now in a local hospital where police and hospital staff are trying to find out who she is.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.solvecrime.ca.
