UPDATED: Surrey RCMP searching for missing 12-year-old girl

Police in Surrey are seeking the public’s help in locating Jaylin Hoytema.

The 12-year-old girl was last seen at 4 pm on Thursday, October 4 in the 7200 block of King George Boulevard, according to a release.

Family members and police are concerned for her health and well-being as she has not been seen or heard from since.

Surrey RCMP describe her as Aboriginal 5’5″ tall, and weighing 150 lbs, with short blonde hair and blue eyes. It is not known what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
