UPDATE: John Komagum has been found safe and sound.

The Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 12-year-old boy.

John Komagum was last seen in the 6700 block of 148th Avenue on Thursday. He and his parents had an argument, and his parents believe he went to a friend’s house to cool off. When he didn’t come home, his parents went searching for him, but couldn’t find him.

Komagum is described as dark skinned, born in Kenya, 5’5″ tall, stout build, with short black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, grey jeans, black Jordan high top runners, possibly a baseball cap, and an Anorak jacket. He might have a skateboard with him as well.

If you spot Komagum or know where he might be, please call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or call Crime Stoppers’ anonymous hotline at 1-800-222-8477.
