A Surrey man is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed by two intruders who entered his home.

At around 4:30 in the morning on Wednesday, police responded to a call of a break and enter in the 19100 block of 62A Avenue after the man who lived there confronted the suspects and was stabbed.

The intruders – described as white males by the Surrey RCMP – then stole the homeowner’s 2005 white Mini Cooper with a black top and license plate number BT6 75H.

Anyone with information on the break and enter or the whereabouts of the Mini Cooper is asked to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
