Early Morning Explosion at King George and 62nd in Surrey

Early this morning, a loud explosion took place in the suburb of Surrey, waking up area residents. 

Surrey Fire department are currently on-scene at an old Mohawk gas station at King George Blvd near 62nd. The source of the explosion is believed to be from an underground tank that stored fuel.

According to several reports, the loud bang was heard and felt as far as 10 blocks away from the site. So far no injuries have been reported.
