On February 3, 2013, thousands of Canadians will gather across the country to experience the most exciting and authentic Super Bowl celebration that only the NFL can deliver. For the second consecutive year, the NFL will host Canada’s largest Super Bowl XLVII Parties featuring thousands of fans, NFL players and cheerleaders. And Vancity Buzz has secured 6 pairs of tickets and two NFL footballs to give away to our amazing readers.
Held downtown at the Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver’s event will include visits from NFL players Shaun Alexander, NFL running back for 9 seasons who guided the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl appearance in 2005 and captured the NFL MVP award, and Darren Woodson, three-time Super Bowl champion and five-time Pro-Bowl defensive back who played 13 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Guests will also be treated to a performance from the Seattle Seahawks’ cheerleaders, “The Sea Gals” and exclusive NFL prizing. Vancouver’s Official NFL Super Bowl XLVII Party is the next best thing to being at the game in New Orleans. Most importantly, fans will benefit from one of the best viewing experiences offered in Canada, boasting multiple big screens while broadcasting the game in HD.
The Vancouver event is just one of several Official NFL Super Bowl XLVII Parties taking place across Canada. Similar events are also being repeated in Toronto and Montreal with thousands expected to attend. Due to popular demand, the banner events, presented by Bud Light, have expanded this year to include the additional host cities of Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Quebec City.
