Boost your entrepreneurial skills at this year's Startup Hacks conference

Feb 10 2017, 4:13 am

Learn life hacks that can help you boost your business on April 22.

Startup Hacks is a learning-based conference aimed at helping entrepreneurs get a head start in their business.

The conference will feature keynote speeches by three leading entrepreneurs: Igor Faletski, Daniel Dubois, and Milun Tesovic.

Faletski is the CEO and founder of Mobify, a mobile shopping platform. He started the business with three people working in a Vancouver apartment, and has now made it into an international business.

Like Faletski, Dubois is also in the mobile world – he’s the Entrepreneur in Residence at The Next Big Thing, a foundation launched by Hootsuite. He’s also the founder of  ShareShed and Guiides.com, is one of the Top 30 Under 30 in BCBusiness Magazine, and has directed a film series on the collaborative economy.

Rounding off this trio of young and successful keynote speakers is Tesovic, an investor and entrepreneur. At 16 he founded an online music website that was later acquired by CBS Interactive. Now, he’s an adviser for a number of different startups, including Food.ee, Indiloop and Quiet.ly.

Participants at Startup Hacks will not only get to listen to these three entrepreneurs during their keynote speeches, but also have the opportunity to chat with them during a Q&A fireside talk.

Afterwords, there will be a networking session for everyone involved, as well as a number of different workshops for entrepreneurs.

Participants can register just for the speeches and fireside chat – tickets for that are $15. But you can also register as a competitor, and compete in Startup Hacks‘ Hackathon, where you can pitch your mobile startup app. You’ll also be able to take part in Startup Hacks’ 12 weekly workshops, which cover everything from ideation, prototyping, to business foundations.
