Your pricey coffee habit might be getting a few cents more expensive starting Tuesday, July 7, when a few Starbucks drinks will have increased pricing in Canada.

The pricing changes in Canada are timed alongside those happening this week in the United States, however as a Starbucks Canada media representative explains, they are not similar.

“In Canada, adjustments will be between 10 and 20 cents on a few of our larger sizes,” according to Starbucks Canada.

Here’s the breakdown of increases in Canada:

  • 10 cents on Venti brewed in some provinces
  • 20 cents on Venti and Grande Lattes/Caffe Mochas in some provinces

As Starbucks Canada points out, these particular beverages have not had their prices upped in one and a half to three years. “90 per cent of Canadian Starbucks beverages are not changing, including some of our most popular options and sizes,” notes their media rep.

Additionally on Tuesday, July 7, Starbucks is rolling out two new cold carbonated tea beverages and their Cold Brew coffee nationwide.
