This is how you're going to want to spend spring in Vancouver

The countdown to spring is on, and that means you’re going to be spending so much time outside to fight off the months of rain-and-cloud-induced depression. But you do know that you’re not limited to the typical city activities, right?

You can swap cycling the Seawall for some fast-paced downhill skiing action just a short drive from your home. Or take in stunning views of your city as you veer around the corner of Panorama, one of the most popular ski runs at Cypress Mountain.

There’s nothing quite like the adrenaline rush that comes with skiing and snowboarding on the highest riding peak of Vancouver’s North Shore Mountain. And now’s the best time to do it (we’ll explain why).

Cypress Mountain is selling Beach Passes for $99 each right now and that means you can take advantage of unlimited skiing and riding from now until the end of the season – seven days a week.

With 53 ski runs, Cypress Mountain has a massive amount of terrain just waiting to be covered. The fresh powder and vertical drops are so good that you’ll want to get planning your visits for next season now. Thankfully, you can – at the lowest price they’ve ever offered.

That’s right, Cypress Mountain is now selling 2018/19 downhill season passes in their spring sale. This means that you can snap up a Silver Season Pass before April 15 and enjoy unlimited downhill skiing and snowboarding during the off-peak season.

The pass excludes dates from December 26 to January 2, plus weekends in January and February. However, you’ll get 40% off your lift tickets during the exclusion dates. And if it’s your first time buying a season pass, you can add a Beach Pass and enjoy unlimited spring riding for the rest of this season!

Did we mention that Cypress Mountain offers free parking, too? You can literally stay there for a full day and not have to worry about coming down off the slopes to top up a parking meter. Dreams come true.
