Blueprint Events has taken over BC Place to prepare for its massive, two-day Contact Festival 2013 set to begin tonight.
Since renovations and the new roof were completed, BC Place stadium’s exterior LED Northern Lights Display has been been lit up for numerous commemorations and holidays. It can also be programmed to display animations such as the giant Union Jack British flag during November 2012’s Paul McCartney concert.
On Monday night, Contact Festival organizers tested the outdoor display’s animation of music sound level bars that will be synchronized with the music played inside the stadium:
The electronic music event from December 26 to 27 will host some of the hottest DJs and entertainers from around the world. Well over 10,000 music fans are expected for the festival, which will feature Skrillex, Kaskade, Dada Life, Diplo, Bingo Players, Dirty South, Baauer, Flosstramadus, RL Grime, MAKJ and Cashmere Cat.
