UPDATE at 8:23 p.m. – SkyTrain’s Surrey Central Station has reopened, regular service has resumed.

EARLIER:

Delays on SkyTrain’s Expo and Millennium lines continue at this time due to a medical emergency at Surrey Central Station this afternoon.

An incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. and has led to the closure of the station.

Transit Police, firefighters and SkyTrain officials are still working to reopen the station. Trains are not stopping at Surrey Central and a bus bridge was quickly implemented to connect passengers between Gateway, King George and Surrey Central stations.

Regular service should resume later this evening.
