Ticket prices are skyrocketing for the Sedins' last game in Vancouver

Thursday’s game between two of the worst teams in the National Hockey League just became the hottest ticket in town.

Fans snapped up all the available seats for Henrik and Daniel Sedin’s final Canucks game in Vancouver in mere minutes, following their announcement that they will retire after this season.Ā In what is surely already the most anticipated matchup ever between the Vancouver Canucks and Arizona Coyotes, tickets for the game are now sold out on Ticketmaster.

The lowest-priced ticket available on ticket reseller StubHub was listed at over $300 CAD (shown below in US dollars) on Monday morning.

Tickets for Canucks home games, particularly ones against non-marquee teams on weekdays, have plummeted this season – with prices dipping as low as $20 on ticket resale sites.

The two greatest players in franchise history have just two home games left, Tuesday against Vegas (tickets were still available as of Monday morning) and Thursday against Arizona. The final game on the Canucks’ schedule is on Saturday at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
