Guilty of watching Sailor Moon episodes during your late-night youtube binges? Secretly wishing they could just put it every season on Netflix to save you the trouble of constantly searching?

Maybe you still remember the theme song, to the point you still know it all by heart.

Perhaps somewhere, deep inside, you still believe that you’re a champion of justice.

A massive festival paying homage to the Sailor Scouts is coming to Vancouver and your childhood dreams are about to come true. The Sailor Moon Van Expo is coming for 2018 and features a huge, evening-long festival.

The festival takes place on Saturday, June 30 (International Sailor Moon Day) from 6 to 10 pm.

Fans can enjoy a movie screening, door prizes and raffle draws, Sailor Moon-themed art, and vendors for all your fandom needs. And of course – the largest collective display of Sailor Moon fans in the city.

All visitors are encouraged to dress in their best Sailor suit and join a costume contest. Even if you don’t have your outfit secretly waiting in the closet, you’re still invited to dress in a “magical” theme.

Tickets and entry will be announced soon and you can find more information via the event’s facebook page. Proceeds from the event will benefit the WAVAW Rape Crisis Centre – an institution that works to end all forms of violence against women.
