Fighting evil by moonlight… and doing burlesque?

If you’re a fan of Sailor Moon and burlesque, you’re in luck.

Moonage Kingdom presents a Sailor Moon-inspired burlesque show at the Rio Theatre on November 17 and 18.

“Sailor Moon meant so much to me growing up. To see these girls who were flailing around and screwing up but still kicking ass and fighting evil made me feel powerful,” said Frankie Faux, Creative Director and Founder of Moonage Kingdon.

Faux combines immersive audio-visuals with dance, acrobatics, drag, and burlesque to create the ultimate entertainment experience for Sailor Moon fans.

Moonage Kingdom Live: A Sailor Moon Burlesque

Where: The Rio Theatre – 1660 East Broadway St., Vancouver

When: Thursday, November 17 and Friday, November 18, from 7 to 11 pm

Tickets: On Brown Paper Tickets, $20-$60
