Music festivals and summer go hand in hand. But not all festivals are created equal, and you deserve the best of the best.
We’re talking about festivals with a magnetic atmosphere where you know you’ll be making memories singing and dancing in the sun while vibing with like-minded revellers. You know; the good stuff.
That’s what it’s all about at Safe & Sound Music Fest (SSMF). On August 24 and 25 the highly-anticipated festival will be returning to Westminster Pier Park, in New Westminster for two days of amazing performances.
The beauty of this riverside festival is that you don’t have to do the whole camping thing. You can buy a day or weekend pass, go home that night where you have the facilities to take a shower, and come back to do it all again the next day.
And since the daily lineups have just been released with first-tier pricing, you’ve got even more of a reason to get your tickets now!
On Friday, August 24, Safe & Sound Fest kicks off with an awesome lineup featuring artists like Vince Staples, Goldlink, Sabrina Claudio, LNDN DRGS, Manila Grey, Sophia Danai, Side, Kenny Gourmet, The Freshest DJs, Floetic, Houtz, and Jay Swing.
Then when you’re ready for more (hungover or not) on Saturday, August 25, you’ll get to hear performances by Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Alina Baraz, SonReal, Rico Nasty, Anders, Tobi Lou, Trill Sammy, So Loki, Angst, Kandy K, Goldstepz, The SJS Crew, Hedspin, Nina Mendoza, Arems & Hoppa, and Raiden.
Getting to the New West festival area is also a breeze since Columbia Street Skytrain station is just a five minutes walk from there (hands raised emoji).
Single day tickets for this can’t-miss summer festival are on sale now, starting at $59.99. New lower pricing means you can get a two-day weekend pass for $149.99, or you can opt for a two-day VIP pass for $249.99 via Safe & Sound Fest.
All-ages are welcome at the festival site, food truck area, and the main stage. Meanwhile, those attending the VIP area must be aged 19 or older to access the elevated lounge and private bar.
