If that’s your bag, you can either chuck it in the garbage or take it back to the store where it was purchased.

Smucker Foods of Canada Corp. issued the recall for their product due to possible E. coli O121 contamination.

The recall was triggered as part of a food safety investigation; one person has reported illness as a result of consuming this flour.

Health Canada explains the risks of consuming contaminated products:

Food contaminated with E. coli O121 may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and watery to bloody diarrhea. In severe cases of illness, some people may have seizures or strokes, need blood transfusions and kidney dialysis or live with permanent kidney damage. In severe cases of illness, people may die.

Definitely make sure you look over your bag of Robin Hood AP before making your next batch of pancakes or cookies.
