According to police, the incident took place around 7 pm on Friday evening, when the woman – a Richmond resident in her 80s – was struck by a 2008 Acura Sedan, at the intersection of Minoru Boulevard and Murdoch Avenue.

The woman was still conscious after the incident and was taken to the hospital with what was described at the time as “minor” injuries.
