Airborne SUV narrowly avoids hitting pedestrian in Richmond parking lot (VIDEO)

There are close calls and then there’s this.

On Thursday, a video was posted to Facebook by Yanfeng Cao, showing a white SUV  attempting to make what appears to be a U-turn in the parking lot of the Yaohan Centre, off No. 3 Road in Richmond.

While the video begins relatively uneventfully, things seem to quickly go sideways and it all culminates in the SUV going airborne through a hedge.

Thankfully, the pedestrian who was walking across the parking lot was alert in this situation, but it’s fair to say this incident serves as a good reminder to always be aware of your surroundings – even in a mall parking lot.
