Revelstoke may be one of the best kept secrets in BC. Everything in the above video was shot in a 3-day period by video production company Moves Media.

Eight hours from Vancouver and four-and-a-half hours from Calgary, Revelstoke is a small town known for its big mountain.

Revelstoke has the longest vertical descent of all resorts in North America, something you can’t even begin to appreciate until you’ve skied it for yourself. It’s is one of the few big mountain resorts where you can take an entire run without seeing another person and get straight on a chair without any waits.

Beyond the resort, Revelstoke’s mountain is a warrior’s paradise. Home to professional athletes like Nadine Overwater (professional snowmobiler) and Izzy Lynch (professional skier) the surrounding peaks are a dream come true for winter enthusiasts.

Here are 5 must-do winter activities to check out at Revelstoke:

1. Ski Revelstoke Mountain Resort

2. Paraski with Revelstoke Paragliding

3. Snowmobile tour or rental with Great Canadian Snowmobiles

4. Dog Sled with Everything Revelstoke

5. Apres at The Village Idiot bar

Follow @movesmedia on Instagram for a chance to join them on their next #BCAdventureProject experience. The initiative uncovers amazing destinations and activities across BC.
