Even the accompanying hashtag can’t save this one.
While major milestones such as Canada 150 are certainly cause for celebration, a promotional ad for the nation-wide party proves it’s still important to stop and double check things are done correctly, before getting caught up in the festivities.
Case in point: A display ad reported spotted at Oakridge mall by Reddit user vanactive, encourages young Canadians to #make150count.
However, whether due to poor planning, size issues, or good old-fashioned worker apathy, the ad instead reads –well, take a look for yourself:
- Vancouver's Canada Day Parade will take place on July 2... after Canada Day
- West Coast Express to operate on Canada Day for the first time
- Canada Day Vancouver 2017 fireworks set to light up downtown skies
- Vancouver to host year-long First Nations celebrations for Canada's 150th birthday
