The Langley RCMP say they’re investigating the circumstances behind a car crash that left one man dead on Thursday evening.

At around 5:30 p.m., police were called to the intersection of 16th Avenue and 197A Street for what appeared to be a rear-ender crash between a Ford Mustang and a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Police say the Mustang that was eastbound stopped at 197A Street to make a lefthand turn when the Dodge Ram rear-ended it. There were three people in the Mustang and the man in the backseat died. Everyone else, including the driver of the truck, only sustained minor injuries.

If you witnessed this crash, call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
