The food challenge trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere just yet, especially at one particular Vancouver eatery, Ramen Taka.

After running a pretty popular Giant Ramen Challenge in June, the Japanese spot has come up with a new feat for daring foodies to tackle: the Flaming Dragon Challenge.

Starting today, July 24, patrons can head into Taka (no reservation needed) and attempt to finish a bowl of Flaming Dragon Ramen – which is 60 times spicier than their regular bowl – in 10 minutes. This includes all noodles, the soup, and toppings.

Those who complete the challenge will receive an original gift from Ramen Taka and they won’t be charged for their meal.

Those who fail will have to pay their $19.25 bill and carry their shame out the door with them.
