Metro Vancouver's forecast shows 7 straight days of rain

Dec 11 2018, 12:29 am

Although Metro Vancouver was able to avoid some early December snowfall, it seems like the rain has taken its place.

Showers dominated much of the weekend’s weather and unsurprisingly, they make up the entirety of the Lower Mainland’s seven-day forecast.

According to Environment Canada, rainfall is expected from Monday, December 10 through Sunday, December 16.

Daily amounts of up to 25 mm are expected, with windy conditions near the water. Monday and Thursday look to be the lighter days of the week, with scattered showers taking place throughout the day.

Fortunately, the temperature will also increase considerably as compared last week, meaning overnight frost on vehicles should be almost non-existent.

Stay warm, stay dry, and remember to pack an umbrella.
