Puppy Yoga is coming to Vancouver this Spring

Feb 27 2018, 5:19 am

Puppy yoga is the newest trend preparing to hit Vancouver.

The event is open to both eager beginners and avid yoga-goers.

The concept is simple. It’s a hour-long yoga class mixed with a puppy-therapy session. These small canines are extremely friendly, love people, and love cuddling.

A handful of puppies will be roaming around during your lesson to add some much-needed cuteness and bonus stress relief to your routine.

After the lesson, participants will have the opportunity to purchase the animals from their respective owners and take them home.

The organizer of the event works with a different breeder every three to four weeks, allowing participants to meet and cuddle puppies of all different shapes and sizes.

The breeds are always changing and so far, Puppy Yoga has hosted Australian Shepherds, Pomskies, and Huskies.

Classes look to start at the end of March, and an exact date and location will be announced soon. You can, however, purchase tickets in advance and receive a discount for buying early. The pre-sale ends as soon as dates are confirmed.

Participants will be required to bring their own mat and water bottle.
