The Professor Suzuki Cocktail: Thyme-Infused Vodka, Sea Buckthorn and Cranberry Liqueur

In honour of Vancouver’s own David Suzuki, I’ve created a very earth-friendly cocktail — all ingredients, with the exception of the lime juice, are from British Columbia. This refreshing drink is perfect for a summer afternoon spent on a patio, with a scenic view of the Pacific Ocean and the North Shore mountains as your backdrop.
2.0 oz Thyme-infused Long Table vodka (to infuse: place a few sprigs of thyme in your bottle of vodka)
0.25 oz Okanagan Spirits Sea Buckthorn Liqueur
0.25 oz Okanagan Spirits Cranberry Liqueur
0.5 oz Unsweetened cranberry juice
0.5 oz Honey water (half water, half honey)
0.5 oz Lime juice
Pre-chill a coupe glass
Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin and add ice
Shake for 15 seconds and double strain to coupe glass
Garnish with a fresh sprig of thyme
