Presidential debate viewing party at Rogue Wet Bar in Vancouver

As the final US presidential debate looms tonight (and coincidentally Prime Minister Trudeau’s one year anniversary in office), you might be wondering where you can join like-minded politicos to shout at a television screen angrily.

Well look no further.

A group of American ex-pats called Democrats Abroad are hosting the last instalment of their presidential debates viewing parties called US Presidential Debates: The Final Episode.

After all, it’s been a bit like a reality TV show, hasn’t it?

The group is meeting at Rogue Wet Bar near Waterfront Station downtown, and fair warning, this group is quite partisan, so if you’re a Trump supporter this might not be your event.

Or maybe it is if you’re a fan of lively debates.

Democrats Abroad does encourage Americans living in Canada to vote, but for a very specific reason:

“We are all doing our part to SAVE THE WORLD FROM TRUMP – ONE VOTE AT A TIME,” reads the Facebook event post.
